The Reserves we work with are spread throughout Southern
Africa including South Africa, and Botswana. Covering hundreds of thousands
of hectares and teeming with large game including the “Big 5”
(elephant, buffalo, lion, rhino, leopard), as well as small mammals, reptiles and insects. By working on projects such as studying Leopards and Elephants or carrying out Wildlife Rehabilitation work, you will make a real difference to some of the world’s most vibrant but vulnerable wildlife and environments. Gain a deeper understanding of African ecology, meet like-minded people and develop fresh skills – all while making a valuable contribution to conservation and getting up close to a huge diversity of African wildlife.
Conservation Management on the reserves includes working alongside indigenous people with their local cultures, educating them and learning from them, all in the interests of nature and the success of the environment. Click on the project links on the right to read about each one!
